Changes from ISO 21500:2012 to ISO 21502:2020

​

The ISO 21502:2020 standard cancels and replaces the ISO 21500:2012 standard. The first edition of ISO 21502 changed from a process-based format to one based on practices and stories. In addition to the introductory articles, the ISO 21502 standard is made up of four main articles:

  • Article 4: Concepts of project management

  • Article 5: Prerequisites for the formalization of project management

  • Article 6: Integrated practices of project management

  • Article 7: Project management practices
